[*Requires— US Sailing Offshore Safety at Sea certification online or in-person within 365 days of the course]

Only people who have completed their US Sailing Sanctioned Offshore Safety at Sea (online or in-person) within the last 365 days from the date of that course, can attend a hands-on training to upgrade their certificate to an International Offshore Safety at Sea. If they are outside of the range, they will have to retake the course either online or in person.
Enrollment includes a code to take the online course for attendees who have not completed the on-line course or completed a US Sailing sanctioned Offshore Safety at Sea course PYC will provide a code for them to register for the online course. US Sailing will provide the codes to PYC who will, in turn, distribute the code to their attendees.

Attendees will receive an upgraded Certificate from Offshore to US Sailing International Offshore (World Sailing compliant) Certificate if the attendee has documented proof of having attended a US Sailing Sanctioned Offshore Safety at Sea course or taken the US Sailing Online Offshore Safety at Sea course within the last 365 days. The online course MUST be taken prior to the hands-on training.

This online course is equivalent to the in-person US Sailing Sanctioned Offshore Safety at Sea course. You will receive a US Sailing Offshore Safety at Sea Certificate at the completion of your online course.
